Hai No Ki

Inspired by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando, this baby room is crafted with the traditional Japanese philosophy of ‘thinking about nature is experiencing nature’. It exudes warmth and sobriety through its oval-shaped pillars that create a unique play of shadows and its use of natural materials that play a prominent role in its design. The Hai No Ki wood, which translates to ‘ash wood’ in Japanese, is a key component of the room, bringing an air of serenity and natural beauty. Safety and sustainability intertwine, as our furniture grows with your child. Quax's commitment to nature is evident in every detail, creating a harmonious sanctuary.

SUSTAINABILITY, SAFETY & MORE

At Quax, we are dedicated to sustainability and safety because the health and well-being of your little one are our top priorities. We use only durable materials that meet stringent safety and environmental standards. All our furniture panels comply with strict formaldehyde emission regulations, ensuring a healthy environment for your child and peace of mind for you.

We strive to use sustainable materials, with all furniture panels meeting the rigorous E1 standards for formaldehyde emissions. We support sustainable forest management and require FSC certification from our suppliers. Only reputable suppliers provide us with high-quality hardware and finishes for our furniture.

Our baby beds are designed with your baby's safety in mind. Featuring rounded corners and safe spacing between the bars, they ensure your little one sleeps safely and comfortably. We partner exclusively with trusted suppliers who provide high-quality hardware and finishes and meet strict certification requirements, such as EN 71-3 for the migration of harmful elements.

All our products undergo thorough testing to meet international safety standards, including the EN-716 standard for cribs, the EN-12221 standard for changing tables, and the EN-12221 standard for dressers. You can cherish precious moments with your little one, knowing their safety is our highest priority.

The Hai No Ki Collection is crafted from high-quality materials, with legs and bars made from solid ash wood, ensuring both strength and a natural aesthetic. The panels are constructed from ash-veneered MDF, offering a durable base with an elegant finish.

To maintain the beauty and longevity of the materials, we recommend regular cleaning with a damp cloth. This simple care routine will help keep the collection in optimal condition.

The Hai No Ki Collection offers a range of versatile and stylish furniture pieces. The beds are available in sizes 120 x 60 cm and 140 x 70 cm, both of which can be converted into an half-open daybed. The 140 x 70 cm bed can be equipped with an optional safety barrier, transforming it into a toddler bed. Additionally, this bed can be extended to a junior bed of 170 x 70 cm with the junior kit, the extension kit includes a lengthening piece for the slatted base and an end panel. The collection also includes a junior bed with an optional side table.

The dresser, featuring a sliding door, can be transformed into a changing table with an optional extension, available in a standard and XL version, making it a perfect changing station that seamlessly integrates with your room's decor. The collection is completed with a wardrobe that has two swing doors and solid bars, a desk, and a bookshelf.

The Hai No Ki Collection ensures that each piece harmoniously blends functionality with elegance, providing a cohesive and stylish solution for your child's room.
